Monthly Meetings

The DPMSO hosts monthly meetings to discuss upcoming events and programming, such as fundraisers and opportunities for both networking and professional development. We rely heavily on active member participation and a strong team of officers for success. Snacks and beverages are provided at these meetings to encourage member retention and create a friendly and productive environment. There are many opportunities for involvement each semester. Those interested in joining, should contact an officer and keep an eye out for announcements from the DPMSO for future activities.

DPMSO Activities

The arduous schedule of courses and internships our students face help foster rewarding experiences. Funds raised by DPMSO have been used to help support students wishing to attend professional meetings and conferences, purchase reading materials for our program library, engage the community with promotional materials about the program, and attend educational field trips. Our members take pride in being involved not only with DPMSO but also with recreational sports, community service, and the diverse activities that Gainesville and Florida have to offer as a whole.
