Md. Tafsir Nur Nabi Rashed

Tafsir graduated from Bangladesh Agricultural University with a B.Sc. in Agriculture. Following this, he completed the Plant Science Specialist Certificate program at Valencia College in Orlando in 2021 as a US Department of State-funded exchange student. During this exchange program, he worked as a research intern at the UF/IFAS Mid-Florida Research & Education Center in Apopka, FL under the advisory of Dr. Lance Osborne, where he studied the phytotoxicity of biopesticides on industrial hemp.
Tafsir is currently co-enrolled, completing his MS in Entomology where his thesis work is focused on evaluating the impact of wildflower plantings on biocontrol of the brown marmorated stink bug.
