Student Internships

Students must complete a total of 30 semester credits including both required and elective internships. Required internships are offered on campus by departmental faculty and are a semester in length. Elective internships may last a few to several weeks or months and are conducted off-campus with research or extension faculty located at research and education centers of the University of Florida or other universities, county extension faculty, private crop consultants, plant/crop production companies and agrichemical firms.

Elective internships may occur under the direction of appropriate individuals at suitable locations around the world. Suggested equivalency: 1 full week of internship activity = 1 credit.
