Doctor of Plant Medicine Student Organization
The University of Florida-IFAS, Doctor of Plant Medicine Student Organization (DPMSO) was established in 2000 to:
- Promote professional and social interaction among DPM students
- Provide a student forum for the improvement of the Plant Medicine Program
- Develop funding opportunities for student projects and educational trips
- Provide a DPM student representative to the University of Florida Graduate Student Council
Monthly Meetings
Each month we have meetings to discuss current issues, upcoming events and fundraising activities. We also provide food at our meetings. Your participation is crucial to our program. There are many opportunities to help.

DPMSO Activities
The arduous schedule of courses and internships makes our activities all the more rewarding. The DPMSO has been active in raising funds for professional meetings, reading material for our library and promoting the program. We also make sure to stay active with sports, help out with community service and enjoy the diverse activities in Gainesville and Florida.
