Georgene Johnson
Greetings from South Florida. I will be starting my first year in the Plant Medicine Program this fall. I am a Florida native, currently residing in beautiful Deerfield Beach. I have lived here all of my life, and can't imagine living anywhere else. I did my undergraduate course work at the University of Florida, where I studied Botany. I also received an MST from Florida, in 2002. I have been pretty busy since I left the university. I am currently employed at USBiosystems, an environmental company located in Boca Raton, Florida. My duties here include working as an extractions technician and a volatiles chemist for GC. I am also employed at Publix Supermarkets, where I have worked for 9 years. In my spare time I have done some volunteer work for a number of organizations, as well as some private tutoring. I believe that if you are capable of giving back, you should. In everything you do, put God first and you won't fail. I look forward to embarking on this new journey in my life, and I can't wait for it to begin!
