Laboratory Tests

Sensitivity of Fusarium oxysporum Isolates from Ornamental Plants to Fungicides

Description of Experiment

The limited number of fungicidal products available to growers for controlling the fungal pathogen Fusarium oxysporum provides an opportunity for the fungus to become tolerant (insensitive) to the fungicides. This study is being conducted to evaluate the sensitivity of a large number of fungal isolates recovered from a wide range of ornamental hosts to selected fungicides to determine if tolerance is developing.
